Adjunct Faculty: Spanish
Mahanaim School invites applications for an adjunct faculty position to teach course: Spanish II. The start date for this position is January 22, 2024. Adjunct faculty positions are assigned on a term-to-term basis.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Teach assigned lessons as outlined in the course descriptions and course syllabi
- Create engaging lessons that promote student involvement and application of the material
- Assist students in achieving stated course objectives. Evaluate the progress of each student and notify students in need of counseling services or tutorial assistance.
- Conduct live evaluations of juries and recitals and submit grades as required
- Maintain professional relationships with students, colleagues, and the community
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned
Requirements
A master's degree is preferred. Preferred qualifications are: successful teaching experience at a college level and sufficient solo and ensemble performance experience. Candidates should also demonstrate the ability to work effectively with diverse populations of students and faculty.
Salary
Commensurate with education and experience
