  1. Voice

  2. Violin
    • * DVD Audition
    • Two contrasting movements of Bach solo Sonata or Partita
    • A fast movement of a standard concerto including cadenza (if applicable)

    • * Live Audition
    • One scale and one arpeggio in 3 octaves. (Key will be given by jury)
    • Two contrasting movements of Bach solo Sonata or Partita.
    • One original caprice for violin solo by N. Paganini or of a comparable level of difficulty.
    • Two contrasting movements of a standard concerto including cadenza (if applicable)
  3. Viola
    • * DVD Audition
    • Two contrasting movements of an unaccompanied Bach partita or suite.
    • A Fast movement of a standard concerto including cadenza (if applicable).

    • * Live Audition
    • One scale and one arpeggio in 3 octaves. (Key will be given by jury)
    • One etude such as Kreutzer, Campagnoli caprice, Rode Caprice etc.
    • Two contrasting movements of an unaccompanied Bach partita or suite.
    • One movement of a standard concerto including cadenza (if applicable).
  4. Cello
    • * DVD Audition
    • Prelude or Fast and slow movements of Bach suite.
    • A fast movement of a standard Concerto including cadenza (if applicable)

    • * Live Audition
    • One scale and one arpeggio in 3 octaves. (Key will be given by jury)
    • Prelude or Fast and slow movements of Bach suite.
    • First movement or second and third movements of a standard Concerto including cadenza (if applicable)
  5. Double Bass
    • * DVD Audition
    • A fast movement from a concerto
    • One complete solo work that contrasts concerto

  7. Oboe
    • * DVD Audition
    • One etude.
    • A First movement of a concerto from a standard repertoire (such as Mozart, Marcello, Strauss, etc.)

    • * Live Audition
    • One scale and one arpeggio. (Key will be given by jury)
    • Two contrasting etudes.
    • A First movement of a concerto from a standard repertoire (such as Mozart, Marcello, Strauss, etc.)
    • One orchestra excerpt from a standard repertoire

    • Choose 2 or 3 of live audition requirement below

    • 2 pieces the applicant has composed within the last 2 years (send recorded performance of pieces and the score)
    • Statement explaining the process and motive of the pieces composed.

    • Theory Test (Harmony, counterpoint, analysis, etc)

  16. Orchestral Conducting

    • 1 movement of a symphony or overture (accompanied by piano)

    • * Live Audition
    • Theory Test (ear- training, sight-sing, Harmony, analysis)
    • Prepare to conduct 1 movement of a symphony or overture (accompanied by piano)
    • Interview
  17. Choral Conducting
