GOOD NEWS THEOLOGY

Program Overview
Good News Theology at Mahanaim’s goal is to bring people back to the Word of God as the definitive source of faith. So much instruction in schools today insist against the divinity of the Word, but as a historical text that should be critiqued to disprove God’s providence and manufacture theories that are debased. Mahanaim wants to take theology and Biblical study back to its roots, wherein lies the path to salvation, the doctrine of true faith and repentance, and God’s heart in relation to spiritual life.

Mahanaim’s Good News Theology program will help prospective students possess a developed spiritual formation, extensive knowledge of both the Old and New Testaments, and essential skills needed for the next step in their careers, whether in the ministry, or short/long-term missions. Mahanaim is excited to offer prospective students an educational experience that is relevant to our times, and grounded in the roots of Bible-based theology.

Program Description
The program lasts a total of 60 weeks, spanning four 15-week instructional terms. Students are given one week at the end of each term for final examinations. This educational program is designed to offer both an immersed in-class experience where students learn a wide range of Biblical topics, and genuine field experience through witnessing, community outreach, and event planning and implementation.

The Good News Theology program offers no electives and is specifically designed to be completed at the exact specifications of the program layout below. The final two full-time terms will have students engage in advanced theology, church history, and practical ministry courses, while being given unique preaching opportunities, as well as conduct special events that benefit the lives of those around them.
